August 3rd, 2020 - Part 2
I did not plan on writing two congregational letters this week, but I realized after I sent off my earlier letter, a couple of days ago, that this week is for me a Study week. During my time this week I will be working with God on selecting scripture, hymns, and themes for our worship for the next several months. It is a busy and exciting week as I look forwards to the direction God is leading us as a Pastoral Charge.
Rev Ted will be preaching our sermon for this Sunday, as Whitney accompanies on the piano and Cecil arranges the monitoring of the computer and puts it online.
Because of the mountains of work ahead of me this week, I will not be phoning folks as I normally do. Know however, that if you need to chat with me, I can be reached at 905-931-1415.
As I said in my last post, a couple of days ago, do have a grand week filled with laughter, surprises, lots of family time, and rest that strengthens and refreshes. Remember that as we pray for one another every morning at 10:30, God grants us wisdom, love and peace to hold each other in infinite care.
